1. How to cancel

To cancel, email us at immersionenglish.ie@gmail.com. A cancellation takes effect on the date we receive your email, and charges are counted back from your child's programme start date.

2. Cancellation charges

We refund anything you've paid above these amounts within 14 days.

For each start date, that means:

21 July 202717 May 202716 June 2027

3. Sending someone in your child's place

If your child can't go, another student aged 12–17 can take the place at no extra charge, as long as you tell us by 1 May 2027. After that date we'll do our best to arrange it, but it depends on our partner's approval.

4. Missed payments

If a payment is more than 7 days late and we haven't agreed a new date, we may cancel the booking. The cancellation charges above then apply.

5. Leaving early or missing part of the programme

We don't refund days your child misses, whether they arrive late, leave early or miss activities.

6. Behaviour

If a student breaks the programme's code of conduct or the law and has to be sent home, the family pays the travel costs. Nothing is refunded.

7. If we have to cancel

If we cancel the programme, for example because there aren't enough students or because of events beyond our control, we'll refund everything you've paid us in full. We aren't responsible for flights or other costs you've booked separately.

8. Insurance

Every student must have travel and medical insurance, and we strongly recommend cover for cancellation. That way, if illness or another emergency stops your child travelling, you can claim back what you lose.
